Our Story

Founded in 2022, D&K Custom Prints LLC is a family-run 3D printing studio based in Missouri. We specialize in high-detail resin miniatures, tabletop models and accessories, articulated toys and fidgets, home décor, and custom 3D printed creations.

What started as a small family business has grown into a studio that has fulfilled more than 11,000 orders. Through that growth, our goal has remained simple: produce high-quality 3D prints, inspect them carefully, pack them securely, and provide the kind of service we would want when ordering for ourselves.

For our tabletop collection, we work with officially licensed 3D designers and sculptors to turn their digital creations into physical models for painters, gamers, and collectors. Each print is produced and processed right here in our Missouri studio.

From Our First Prints to 11,000+ Orders

D&K Custom Prints began in 2022 with an Etsy storefront and a passion for 3D printing. Our early focus was straightforward: create clean, dependable prints while providing customers with personal service and careful attention to each order.

As our customer base grew, so did our equipment, product selection, and relationships with talented 3D designers. Eventually, we expanded beyond Etsy and built our own independent online store, giving us greater control over the shopping experience, product options, and services we can offer our customers.

Today, D&K Custom Prints continues to be operated as a family-run business from our Missouri studio. We've fulfilled 11,000+ orders, and every order still passes through our hands before it leaves our shop.

For us, quality isn't just about what comes off the printer. It's the entire process—from selecting quality materials and carefully processing each print to inspecting, packing, and shipping the finished product.

How We Make Our Resin Miniatures

High-detail resin printing requires more than simply starting a printer. Our resin miniatures go through a multi-step production and finishing process designed to preserve fine details while producing a clean, properly cured finished model.

After printing, models go through an initial and final wash using 99% IPA, additional cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner, and a water rinse. Depending on the model and its size, prints are typically allowed approximately 24 hours to de-gas before UV curing. Supports are then removed, the model is inspected by hand, and any finish-specific preparation is completed before the order is carefully packed for shipment.

High-Detail 16K Resin Printing

Our resin production equipment uses high-resolution 16K masking technology capable of reproducing extremely fine details in digital sculpts. This helps preserve features such as faces, armor textures, weapons, scales, clothing, and other small details that matter to miniature painters, tabletop gamers, and collectors.

Combined with appropriate print settings and careful post-processing, our goal is to provide a smooth, highly detailed surface that gives painters an excellent starting point for priming, painting, and display.

Articulated Toys & Custom Color Filament Printing

Our filament-printed collection includes articulated toys, fidgets, décor, accessories, and other functional or decorative designs. We carefully tune our printers and inspect finished products for print quality, movement, and obvious defects before shipping.

Many articulated designs are printed in place, allowing their joints and moving sections to function without traditional assembly. Because some products may contain small parts or could create small pieces if damaged, always follow the age recommendations and safety information provided with the individual product.

D&K Custom Prints holds commercial licenses to produce and sell physical prints from a growing collection of independent 3D designers and studios. These partnerships allow us to offer their designs as authorized physical products while supporting the artists and sculptors who created them.

Made & Hand-Inspected in Missouri

We're proud to operate D&K Custom Prints as a family-run business. Our products are printed, processed, inspected, and packed from our Missouri studio rather than being sent to an unknown third-party fulfillment company.
